The 2021 REX PET HOTEL Flying Fortress Stages on Sunday 13th June at Grafton was a great success and very popular with competitors. The event attracted 120 entries and started a full compliment of 70 crews on a gloriously sunny day. The final event results and award winners can be found on the event website HERE. The organisation of the 2021 Rex Pet Hotel Flying Fortress Stages was another huge undertaking, especially with the implementation of all the Covid-19 mitigation procedures. Our thanks go to all the organising team, led by Clerk of the Course Andy Smith, and to all the Officials, Marshals, Safety Crews and Competitors for playing their part. The latest Dukeries Rally Championship points / positions after the Flying Fortress are now published in the Championship section on this site. Jonathan Lightbody and Daniel Ward have taken the early lead in the Drivers and Co-Drivers sections respectively.
The latest Clubman Motorsport EMAMC Championship points are available HERE and the latest Alpha Concrete ANEMMC Championship points can be found HERE. Thanks to the success of various club members Dukeries MC have taken a slender lead in the EMAMC Club Championship after 2 events.
The next round of all these championships, (and also the AEMC Championship), is the Phoenix Stages at Fulbeck on 1st August. (The Twyford Stages which was planned for July has been postponed). There is likely to be a great demand for entries for the Phoenix Stages so Dukeries competitors wanting to compete will need to submit their entries very quickly. Entries open on Monday 5th July at 18:30hrs.
Finally, we would like to confirm that the Dukeries Motor Club Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 22nd July at Mansfield Rugby Club starting at 9.00pm. This AGM will be to approve the Dukeries MC accounts for 2020 and to elect the Officers and Committee of Dukeries Motor Club for the coming year. If any members are interested in joining the committee and having a say in the running of the club then this is your opportunity.
