The upcoming NHMC Cadwell Park Stages on Sunday 20th November is the final and deciding round of the 2022 Dukeries Rally Championship, the Clubman Motorsport EMAMC Stage Rally Championship and the Alpha Concrete ANEMMC Stage Rally Championship. It is also the 2nd round of the new 2022/23 MGJ Engineering Circuit Rally Championship.
The entry list is notable not only because of the large number of Dukeries members who are competing in the different classes throughout the field, but also that the top three seeded entries each have female co-drivers. [does this fit the stereotype of being better organised?] The seeded entry list is HERE.
The Dukeries MC Rally Championship has again gone down to the final event with the overall Drivers title to be decided between Matthew Arnold and Maz Miller, whilst the co-drivers title is between Iain Davidson and Ellie Arnold. Whilst Matthew and Iain are currently leading their respective categories, both crews will need to finish the event and score significant points to be in with a chance of securing the titles.
The 2022 Clubman Motorsport EMAMC Stage Rally Championship is even closer and there are 4 drivers including Maz Miller and Matthew Arnold who can still win the East Midlands Stage Rally drivers title. Congratulations to Iain Davidson who has already secured the 2022 EMAMC Champion Co-drivers title. The latest EMAMC Stage Rally Championship points / positions are HERE
We are pleased to confirm that Dukeries MC have again secured the East Midlands Club Championship thanks to the contribution of all the club competitors who have competed on East Midlands Championship events throughout 2022.
The second round of the MGJ Engineering Circuit Rally Championship sees more competitors joining t he competition and there will be around 30 CRC championship crews on the event. With the best 5 scores to count from the 8-event calendar there is still plenty of opportunities to compete on the Championship. Please note that if you want to register for the CRC then you should do so on-line before the event if you want to score points from Sundays event.
They are running 8 stages at Cadwell with the first car starting at 9.00am. As always in November the weather and stages in the dark will be a big challenge. Expect some ‘fireworks’ even before the scheduled firework display at the end of the event.
