We are organising a Celebration Dinner to mark the 70th Anniversary of Dukeries Motor Club and you are all invited. This will take place on Saturday 5th October 2024 at the Hostess Restaurant, Sookholme Road, Sookholme, Mansfield NG19 8LL.
This is a (never to be repeated) opportunity to catch up with old friends and reminisce about past times in a relaxed environment. A splendid 4 course dinner will be served at a cost of just £25 which includes a glass of Prosecco for the after-dinner toast. Guests will also receive a Dukeries Motor Club 70th anniversary memento.

Our guest speaker for the evening will be Mike Broad who has a vast history in our sport from the late 1960’s right up to the present day. He was co-driver for such rally legends as Walter Rohrl, Per Eklund, Russell Brookes and Colin McRae and since retiring from competition in 1992 he has been team manager for the GM Rally Team and is currently President of the BTRDA and the UK representative on the FIA Rally Commission.
There will be a display of club memorabilia, lots of photos and videos and a few personal recollections during the evening. The venue will be open from 6.30 and dinner will be served at 7.15. The bar will close at 11.45 and the “finishing line” is midnight.
Numbers are limited so bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis. There will be round tables of 10 so please indicate on your booking form if you have a preference of table companions.
