The 2022 Northside Truck & Van Donington Rally on Sunday 13th March was a great success and was very popular with both competitors and spectators.
There were 85 crews who started the event including 19 crews from Dukeries MC. The event was won by David Henderson and Sion Cunniff [Ford Fiesta R5] ahead of Barry Morris / Tom Hutchings [Darrian GTR 90] with John Griffiths and Nigel Wetton [Fiesta R5] in third place.

The event was the penultimate round of the 2021/22 Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship and the opening round of the 2022 EMAMC and ANEMMC Stage Rally Championships and our own Dukeries Rally Championship. The organisation of the 2022 Northside Truck & Van Donington Rally was another huge undertaking by the event organising team. They again used some different stage routes including a second lap of the Launch Pad / Heritage Loop / Tarmac Lake area. Our thanks go to our event sponsors Northside Truck & Van for their generous support, and to all the organising team, led by Clerk of the Course Bob Draper, and all the Officials, Marshals, Safety Crews and Competitors for playing their part. Note: The Donington Rally was the 6th stage rally that the club have organised and run since March 2020!
So now onto the next highlight of the year which will be the Rex Pet Hotel Flying Fortress Stages at Grafton on 12th June.
