In the first round of the club championship "Multi-Venue" section, the Malcolm Wilson Rally, the Dukeries member competitors were unlucky. The three competing members failed to finish the gruelling snow and ice stages! Guy Simmons in a Focus WRC failed to start SS6, Warren McKiernan with Andy Smith in a Group N Subaru got stuck in a ditch on SS4 and had to be towed out, though the car was not damaged.
The rally was won by former club member Steve Perez in his Focus WRC.
