17/08/2009: Richard Burns Success

Held on a hot weekend in Norfolk the standard of cars competing was very high.
Of the 3 crews that completed the two days, top placed car was John Stevens and Pete Butler at 19th overall, followed very closely by Clive Hilton
and Liam Butler at 20th overall.
The success of the weekend was achieved by Stewart Proctor and Jennie Sinclair who won 3rd in class in the newly completed Lotus Talbot Sunbeam
on their first outing in the car.
Bad luck to Dave & Clair Welch stripping the rear axle of the Sunbeam after a very fast time on SS1, Robert Stevens and Ian Bass with a g/box fault
on the Evo and Mark Swallow co-driving in a BMW M3 Compact retiring after SS6.
The "party on the Pan", fireworks and Red Arrows added to the event and the Lancaster Bomber fly past sounded better than a 6R4 !
