17/01/2009: 2009 Dukeries Motor Club Championship

The 2009 Dukeries Rally Championship will be made up of 13 rounds, 6 Forestry events and 7 Multi-use events. (Edited on 25th Feb following cancellation of Robin Hood Rally) The points system and rules will be basically be the same as 2008 but there may be some slight tweaks however one I can announce is that there is NO necessity to carry Dukeries MC decals on your rally car, obviously we want you (remember they are free) to but as long as it states Dukeries MC on the rally entry list then you will be eligible to score points.

Round 1 - The Bill Cammack Rally - February 21st - Manby (MU)
Round 2 - Phoenix Stages - 29th March - Fulbeck (MU)
Round 3 - Horiba DIsis - 4th April - MIRA (MU)
Round 4 - Plains Rally - 16th May - Welshpool (F)
Round 5 - The Golden Jubilee Dukeries Rally - June 13th - Sherwood (F)
Round 6 - The Quinton Rally - 4th July - Mid Wales (F)
Round 7 - Centenary Stages - 9th August - Twyford (MU)
Round 8 - The Richard Burns Memorial Rally - 15th August - Marham (MU)
Round 9 - The Wolds Rally - 6th September - Fulbeck (MU)
Round 10 - The Trackrod Clubmans - 26th September - North Yorks (F)
Rouns 11 - The Harold Palin - 3rd October - Manby (MU)
Round 12 - The Malton Stages - 1st November - North Yorks (F)
Round 13 - The Premier Stages - 21st November - Sherwood (F)

You dont have to do them all as only your best 7 will count but we have tried to include a good mix for all budgets. We are also thinking of splitting the Championship into 3.
We will have an Overall Champion, a Multi Use Champion and a Forest Champion but details are to be confirmed. However you can be assured there will still be CASH PRIZES !

Full details will follow when the Championship regulations are produced but at least you know what is in the championship for 2009, we had over 70 people score points last year ! Not bad for a Club Championship bet there are some bigger championships would like that !
